Northwest of Troy in the Uwharrie National Forest, the Badin Lake area has 16 miles of trails open to dirt biking.

To reach the Badin Lake ORV trailhead from SR109 west of Troy, follow signs to Badin Lake and Cove Boat Ramp and Picnic Area.

Overall, Badin Lake is the 2nd most popular dirt bike trail of all 14 dirt biking rides in North Carolina.
