Hanging Rock ORV Trail System For Dirt Biking

The 4th most popular offroad motorcycle trail in Ohio.

Northwest of Ironton and north of Hanging Rock in the Wayne National Forest, the Hanging Rock ORV Trail System has 26 miles of trails over 5,000 acres open to mountain biking and off-road motorcycle trails riding. The area contains a network of nine very challenging trails through forested hills. The trails wind through an old strip mine area from the 1960s.

To reach the trailhead from Ironton, head west on US52 to Hanging Rock. Turn right heading north on SR650 for 0.75 miles. Turn left heading west on FS105. Stay on Forest Road 105 for approximately 1.5 miles for beginning of OHV trail and main trailhead parking.

Overall, Hanging Rock ORV Trail System is the 4th most popular dirt bike trail of all 20 dirt biking rides in Ohio.
