Pine Creek ORV Trail System For Dirt Biking
The 9th most popular offroad motorcycle trail in Ohio.

North of Ironton and west of Portsmouth in the Wayne National Forest, the Pine Creek off-road motorcycle trail system has 20 miles of rolling trails through scenic forest open to off-road motorcycle riders. There are three trailheads which service the three trails in this system.
To reach the Telegraph Trailhead from Ironton, head north on SR93 for 23 miles. Turn left on CR193 for 1/8 mile to the parking area. This trailhead is at the far eastern end of the Telegraph Trail. The Telegraph Trail heads west for 5 miles to the intersection of the other two trails.
To reach the Lyra Trailhead from Whellersburg, head east on CR2 to Lyra. Turn right on Township Road 30 for 0.5 miles to the trailhead parking on the left. This trailhead is the far southwestern end of the Lyra Trail. The Lyra Trail heads northeast from the trailhead for 4 miles to the intersection with the other two trails.
To reach the Wolcott Trailhead from Ironton, head north on SR93 to SR522. Head west on SR522 for 3.5 miles to Township Road 257. Continue for 3 miles to the trailhead.
Overall, Pine Creek ORV Trail System is the 9th most popular dirt bike trail of all 15 dirt biking rides in Ohio. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Pine Creek ORV Trail System including Hanging Rock ORV Trail System and Monday Creek ORV Area.
