McCubbins Gulch OHV Area For Dirt Biking

Southeast of Portland and Government Camp near Maupin, the McCubbins Gulch OHV Area has over 30 miles of rolling Class III ATV trails that are open to dirt biking.

To reach the dirt bike trailhead for McCubbins Gulch OHV Area from Portland, head southeast on US26. About 17 miles past Government Camp, veer left heading east on SR216 for about 2 miles. Turn left heading north on FS2130 for 0.5 miles. Just past the powerlines, there is a day-use parking area on the left.

The NFS McCubbins Campground is off FS2110 which is located past the Bear Springs Work Center on SR216.

Note: This area requires Oregon State OHV Tags and Spark Arrestors.

Overall, McCubbins Gulch OHV Area is the 1st most popular dirt bike trail of all 48 dirt biking rides in Oregon.
