West of Medford and southeast Brookings in the Siskiyou National Forest, the 2.3 mile Chimney Camp Trail is a great wooded dirt biking route on the Winchuck River.

The dirt biking on the Chimney Camp Trail is 17 miles, by road, east of Brookings, Oregon. From Highway 101 and the Chetco River in Brookings, go south on Highway 101 for 4 miles. Go east on County Road 896 (Winchuck), which becomes Forest Service Road #1107. Travel this road for about 9 miles. Turn left on Forest Service Road #1108. Go about 1.5 miles, past Ludlum House and take access road to trailhead across Wheeler Creek.
