West of Medford and southwest of Cave Junction in the Siskiyou National Forest, the McGrew 4WD Trail is a remote 20 mile dirt biking route. The trailhead is located 15 miles southwest of Cave Junction on US199.

Overall, McGrew 4WD Trail is the 27th most popular dirt bike trail of all 48 dirt biking rides in Oregon. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby McGrew 4WD Trail including Johns Peak / Timber Mountain ORV Area, Applegate Valley ORV, Chetco Gorge Trail, Chimney Camp Trail, Elliott Ridge and Galice.
