Santiam Pass OHV Area For Dirt Biking

Northwest of Bend and Sisters in the Cascade Mountains, the Santiam Pass OHV Area has 1,500 acres open to off-road motorcycle trails riding through cinder cones and lava flows. The conditions are loose and sandy.

To reach the trailhead from Santiam Junction (SR 22 and US 20) head 5.2 miles east on US 20. Go right (south) on NFD 2690 (towards Hoodoo Ski area.) Travel 3.2 miles to the junction with NFD 810. Parking is at the junction in an unsigned trailhead.

Note: Not all the trails and staging areas shown on the map may have been completed. The schedule of completion has not been set. Make sure to call ahead before going.

Overall, Santiam Pass OHV Area is the 6th most popular dirt bike trail of all 48 dirt biking rides in Oregon.
