Amasa Basin For Dirt Biking

Southwest of Salt Lake City and west of Delta, the Amasa Basin area has a 33 mile off-road motorcycle trail system. The outer loop is 27.5 miles. The trails range from 5,400 feet to 9,000.

To reach the Miller Canyon Trailhead from Salt Lake City, head south on US15 to Nephi. Proceed southwest on SR132 to Lynndyl. Continue west on US6 to Delta. Continue west on US50/6 for about 40 miles to Milepost 51.5. Turn right heading northwest for 4.4 miles. Turn left heading south for 1.2 miles. Turn right heading northwest for 5 miles to the Miller Canyon Trailhead.

Overall, Amasa Basin is the 32nd most popular dirt bike trail of all 68 dirt biking rides in Utah. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Amasa Basin including Burbank Hills and Conger Mountain.
