South of Cannonville, the Cottonwood Road (#400) is a 46 mile rough dirt road for dirt biking that meanders through start badlands, sandstone hogbacks and scenic canyons. Along the way is Gosvernor Arch, a unique double arch. Its about 13 miles east of Kodachrome Basin State Park and a mile off Cotttonwood Road on Road #440.
Overall, Cottonwood Road is the 17th most popular dirt bike trail of all 68 dirt biking rides in Utah. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Cottonwood Road including Casto Canyon Riding Trail, Red Canyon, Paunsaugunt Trail, Fremont ATV Trail and Jacob Lake ORV Loop.
