Southeast of Tacoma and east of Elbe, the Elbe Hills State Forest has 8 miles of off-road motorcycle trails. This trail system is quite difficult and may damage your ride.

To reach the trailhead from Tacoma, head south on SR7 through LaGrande to Elbe. Continue east on SR706 for 6.3 miles to Stoner Road. Turn left to the trailhead parking area.

Overall, Elbe Hills State Forest is the 11th most popular dirt bike trail of all 36 dirt biking rides in Washington.
