Wild Rivers Trail For Dirt Biking

The 18th most popular offroad motorcycle trail in Wisconsin.

In Douglas County, a 47 mile stretch of the Wild Rivers State Trail runs from Superior south to Wascott. The main trailhead is located south of Superior near the intersection of county highways C and A. The trail passes through deep sections of the Douglas County Forest.

The Wild Rivers State Trail is a 96 mile multi-use route along the abandoned Soo Line railroad grade. The trail meanders through Barron, Douglas and Washburn Counties. It passes through numerous charming and unique northland communities. The route is shared in the summer by hikers, mountain bikers, horseback and off-road motorcycle riders, and in the winter by cross country skiers and snowmobilers.

Overall, Wild Rivers Trail is the 18th most popular dirt bike trail of all 26 dirt biking rides in Wisconsin.
