West of Sheridan and southwest of Ranchester in the Bighorn National Forest, the area southeast of Burgess Junction has miles of trails and roads open to off-road motorcycle trails riding.

Directions from Sheridan: Take Interstate 90 west to Ranchester. Head west on US14 to Burgess Junction. Turn left on US14 heading south for 5 miles to FS26. Turn right heading east on FS26 for two miles to Tie Flume.

Make sure to have the current Wyoming ORV Permit.

Overall, Burgess Junction is the 12th most popular dirt bike trail of all 26 dirt biking rides in Wyoming.
