East of Alpine in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, the 10 mile Trail Creek Trail (#1069) is open to dirt biking from the trailhead to the summit of Elk Mountain. The route has 4,900 feet of vertical gain. There are about 3 miles (one-way) of trail open to motorized usage.

To reach the dirt biking on the Trail Creek from Alpine, ravel southeast on Greys River Road #10138 to Little Greys River Road #10124. Go north on Little Greys River Road, about 11/4 mile . Turn left on Trail Creek Road #10182 to the road end.

The trail begins at the end of Trail Creek Road #10281. The trail ends at the mouth of Bailey Creek in Snake River Canyon.

Overall, Trail Creek is the 13th most popular dirt bike trail of all 26 dirt biking rides in Wyoming. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Trail Creek including Covey Cutoff Trail, Deadman Peak Trail, North Horse Creek ORV Trail, Spring Creek Trail and Way Trail.
