In Chippewa County, the Drummond Island Motorcycle Trail is a 60 mile route open to dirt biking. The ORV trails on Drummond Island are some of the most scenic and rugged trails the State of Michigan has to offer.

To reach the western trailhead from Lincoln, head southeast on Johnswood Rd. for 2.3 miles. Turn left on Glen Cove Rd and go .8 mile. Turn left onto a road heading north and go just over .5 mile to parking on the left.

All Drummond Township and Chippewa County roads are open to ORV traffic.

Overall, Drummond Island Trail is the 26th most popular dirt bike trail of all 63 dirt biking rides in Michigan. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Drummond Island Trail including Brevort-Trout Lake ATV Trail, Kinross Motorcycle Trail and Cranberry Lake Riding Trail.
