North of Downieville in the Tahoe National Forest, the Downie River OHV Trail is a 7 mile one-way route ranging from 3000 to 4000 feet in elevation. The route follows the Downie River through scenic old growth forest. The first 3 miles are shared between off-road motorcycles, then the trail turns to singletrack.
