North of Downieville in the Tahoe National Forest, the Craycroft Ridge OHV Trail is an 8 mile one-way dirt biking route ranging from 3600 to 6500 feet in elevation. The trail climbs to a ridge with views of Red Oak Canyon. The route turns to singletrack about 0.5 miles from Chimney Rock Trail.
Overall, Craycroft Ridge OHV Trail is the 90th most popular dirt bike trail of all 120 dirt biking rides in California.
