North of Downieville in the Tahoe National Forest, the Craycroft Ridge OHV Trail is an 8 mile one-way dirt biking route ranging from 3600 to 6500 feet in elevation. The trail climbs to a ridge with views of Red Oak Canyon. The route turns to singletrack about 0.5 miles from Chimney Rock Trail.
