Spruce Mountain For Dirt Biking

Southeast of Elko and south of Wells, the Spruce Mountain area has miles of dirt biking trails with spectacular mountain vistas. The trails climb through aspen forests and run ridges.

To reach the trailhead from Elko, head east on US80 to the Wells exit. Turn south on SR93 for 37 miles to the Spruce Mountain turnoff. After turning at the Spruce Mountain turnoff, fo 4.25 miles to parking on right.

Overall, Spruce Mountain is the 11th most popular dirt bike trail of all 29 dirt biking rides in Nevada. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Spruce Mountain including Immigrant Trail, Harrison Pass / Corral Creek, Stag Mountain, School Creek / Sherman Creek and Jacks Valley.
