Stag Mountain For Dirt Biking

The 12th most popular offroad motorcycle trail in Nevada.

Northeast of Elko and north of Deeth, the Stag Mountain area has miles of riding in the Jarbidge Mountains of remote northern Nevada.

To reach the dirt biking trailhead from Elko, head east on US80 to the Deeth exit. Head north toward Jarbidge.

A remote trail connects Stag Mountain, Charleston and Jarbidge and can be accessed off Interstate 80 at Deeth. The excursion to Stag Mountain, about 45 miles off Interstate 80, is a day trip. The trek to Charleston (44 miles) and Jarbidge (66 miles) are overnighters.

Overall, Stag Mountain is the 12th most popular dirt bike trail of all 29 dirt biking rides in Nevada. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Stag Mountain including Immigrant Trail, Harrison Pass / Corral Creek, Spruce Mountain, School Creek / Sherman Creek and Jacks Valley.
