West of Paxson, the Oscar Lake ORV Route is an 8 mile one-way trail heading south to Oscar Lake. The route is open to hiking, mountain biking, motorcycle riding.

To reach the trailhead from Paxson, head west on the Denali Highway (SR8) for 36.8 miles.
