East of Cantwell, the Butte Lake Trail is a 5 mile trail to Butte Lake. The route is open to motorcycle riding.

To reach the trailhead from Cantwell, head east on the Denali Highway (SR8) for 39.5 miles.

Overall, Butte Lake Trail is the 19th most popular dirt bike trail of all 20 dirt biking rides in Alaska.
