Tarryall OHV Routes - South For Dirt Biking

The 52nd most popular offroad motorcycle trail in Colorado.

Northwest of Lake George in the Pike National Forest, the Tarryall OHV Area has numerous dirt roads open to offroad motorcycle riding.

Note: the following roads are prohibited to unlicensed vehicles: CR39 (aka FS129 or Rock Creek Hills), CR56/CR56.3A (aka FS127 or Lost Park Road), and CR77 (aka Tarryall Road).

To reach the trailhead from Lake George, head northwest on US24 for 1 mile. Turn right heading northwest on CR77 for 20.5 miles.

Note: Colorado residents must register their off-highway vehicle with the Colorado State Parks (303) 866-3437. Non-residents are not required to register in Colorado, if they are registered in their home states. All off-highway vehicles must have an approved muffler and spark arrester. These requirements are subject to change so make sure to contact the Colorado State Parks prior to using your off-highway vehicle.
