Hot Creek Trail For Dirt Biking

The 38th most popular offroad motorcycle trail in Idaho.

Northeast of Boise and southwest of Atlanta in the Boise National Forest, the Hot Creek Trail #047 is a 10 mile route between Phifer Creek Road (FS156) at 5400ft and James Creek Road (FS126) at 7700ft. This narrow, lightly used, challenging route rolls over several major drainages.

To reach the dirt biking trailhead from the intersections of Quarts Street and Middle Fork Road in Atlanta, go west on Middle Fork Rd. for 1.8 miles. Branch left to the James Creek Road and head west/south for 4.7 miles to the trailhead on the right.

Overall, Hot Creek Trail is the 38th most popular dirt bike trail of all 53 dirt biking rides in Idaho.
