Southwest of Calgary and Bragg Creek, the McLean Creek Off-Highway Land Use Area has miles of trails open to dirt bike riding.

To reach the area from Calgary, head west on Highway 1 to the Bragg Creek turnoff (Highway 22). Head south on Highway 22 to the intersection with Highway 22x and Highway 66. Turn right heading west on Highway 66 to the trailhead.

Overall, McLean Creek ORV Use Area is the 1st most popular dirt bike trail of all 38 dirt biking rides in Alberta. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby McLean Creek ORV Use Area including The Homestead, Wild Rose MX and Brooks Motorcycle Park.
