Northwest of Holton, the Horseshoe-Holton Motorcycle Trail is a 70 mile route open to dirt biking. There is a small section that is shared by both dirt bikers and ATV riders.

To reach the trailhead from the intersection of SR 82 and Darling Ave. in Fremont, go west on SR 82 for 5 miles. Continue straight as 82 turns. The new road is Skeels Rd. Travel 3 miles on Skeels Rd. Turn right on 184th Ave. and go 2.3 miles. Parking is near the intersection of 184th Ave. and McKinley Rd.

Overall, Horseshoe-Holton Motorcycle Trail is the 10th most popular dirt bike trail of all 63 dirt biking rides in Michigan.
