The Crescent Dunes is a 3,000 acre open dune riding area.

To reach the dirt biking trailhead from the intersection of US 95 and US 6 in Tonopah, go north on US 95 towards Hawthorne for 5 miles. Turn right on Pole Line Rd. and go north for about 9 miles. Turn right on dirt road leading to the dunes. The camping area is 2 miles in, next to the first large crescent-shaped dune.

Overall, Crescent Dunes Open Riding Area is the 20th most popular dirt bike trail of all 29 dirt biking rides in Nevada.
