Northeast of Chilliwack and north of Hope, the BC Nickel Mine Road tailing ponds area has 100km of routes open to dirt bike riding. These routes are maintained by the Fraser Valley Dirt Riders Association.

To reach the BC Nickel Mine Road trailhead for dirt biking from Hope, head north on Highway 1 for roughly 12km. Turn left on BC Nickel Mine Road. Follow BC Nickel Mine Road as it winds up to the top of the hill to the fork in the dirt road. The right had fork leads to the main trail system.

Overall, Nickel Mine is the 2nd most popular dirt bike trail of all 36 dirt biking rides in British Columbia.
