West Texas Baja Dirt Biking

Northwest of Lubbock near Shallowater, the West Texas Baja has a 1.6 mile motocross track and an ATV track. Both tracks have multiple sweeping and hairpin turns in both directions and numerous changes in elevation (drop-offs & hills) and off-camber terrain. There are rocks and rough terrain throughout both tracks. There may be water accumulation on either track. Both tracks are dirt and generate considerable amounts of dust when driven on. There are numerous round hay-bales and tires located at critical turns throughout both tracks. Most of the two tracks have tall grass on both sides.

To reach West Texas Baja from Reese Center, head west on SR114 (West 19th) for 3 miles. Look for the Santa Fe caboose on your left & turn right at the orange WTB sign (this dirt road is NCR 1100). Go 2 miles and turn right at the white WTB sign. Go 1/2 mile East and then 1/2 mile South to the parking area.
