South of Luther in Lake County, the Tin Cup Springs Trail is a 20 mile loop open to dirt bike riding.

To reach the trailhead from Luther, head south on State Rd. for about 6.5 mi. Take a right (west) on 24th St. and then a right (north) on Kings Hwy. The trailhead will be on your right about 1 mile up the road. One good feature is that the Trail and Route run parallel to each other and you can change from one to the other at any road crossings. The ORV Route will have some sandy sections and you need to lookout for dune buggies and 4 wheel traffic.

Overall, Tin Cump Springs Trail is the 55th most popular dirt bike trail of all 63 dirt biking rides in Michigan. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Tin Cump Springs Trail including Little Manistee Trail and Lincoln Hills Trail.
