Northeast of Boise and Idaho City in the Boise National Forest, the Black Warrior Trail is a 9 mile route open to ATV riding, hikers, horseback, and motorcycles.

To reach the trailhead from Atlanta, head west on Middle Fork Road for 10 miles. Turn north on FS210 to the trailhead.

Overall, Black Warrior Trail is the 44th most popular dirt bike trail of all 53 dirt biking rides in Idaho. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Black Warrior Trail including Wilson Flat ATV Trail System, Idaho Cenntenial Trail, Hemingway Butte OHV Trailhead, Danskin Mountains OHV Area, East Mountain Way and Kirkham Ridge TrailBull Creek Trail.
