South of Albany and northeast of Hudson, the Claverack Motocross (aka Claverack MX) has a natural terrain track open to dirt biking. There are several tabletops, but no doubles or whoop sections. This is a family-oriented motocross area.
The Claverack MX is located at 267 Kittle Road in Hudson. To reach the park from Albany, take US90 (toll free) toward Boston (East) to Hudson Exit 12, then South on Route 9 (5 miles), continue straight on Route 9 H South (13 miles) to stop light, then left on Route 66, East 200 ft. (follow signs). Bear right, East on Gahbauer Rd 2 miles, then right on Tishauser Rd 1 mile to track.
Note: Open weekends only. They offer a motocross school periodically.
Overall, Claverack Motocross is the 10th most popular dirt bike trail of all 30 dirt biking rides in New York.
