Batey-Bould ORV Area For Dirt Biking

Southeast of Colville and east of Chewelah, the Batey Bould Motorcycle Trails are a network of 18 miles of trails. The terrain in this trail system ranges from meadows to mountain peaks. There is a view of the Pend Oreille River Valley from Tacoma Peak and Boulder Mountain loops and visit the Uptagraph homestead site on trail #306. The trail system links to the 45-mile Little Pend Oreille Trail System in the north.

To get to the trailhead, go .5 mile north of Cusick on SR 20. Turn left (west) on Kapps Lane. Continue 1 mile to the end of the road and turn right (north) on West Calispell Road. Continue for 2 miles and turn left (west) onSicley Road (CR 2341). The trailhead is another mile from the turn off.
