There are two main trailhead access points: Willow Springs Road and Dalton Well Road.
To reach the Willow Springs Road trailhead for the Sovereign Trails, head north on US191 for 12 miles. Turn right on 4WD Willow Springs Road for 2.5 miles to the trailhead parking area.
To reach the Dalton Well Road trailhead from Moab, head north on US191 for 13 miles. Turn right heading east on Dalton Well Road for 1.5 miles to the signed trailhead. If you pass through the gate and it is closed first, make sure to close it after you pass.
Overall, Sovereign Trail is the 13th most popular dirt bike trail of all 37 dirt biking rides in Utah. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Sovereign Trail including Amasa Back Trail, Chicken Corners Trail, Gemini Bridges, Poison Spider ORV Trail and Porcupine Rim Trail.
