Near Reno, the Stead MX Track has a track and some trails open to dirt bike riding. The facility is maintained by the Nevada Oldtimers Motocross Club.

To reach the Stead MX Track from Reno, head north on US395 for roughly 6 miles to the Lemmon Drive exit. Turn right on Lemmon Drive for about 6 more miles to the air field gate. Continue 2 more miles to the track.

Overall, Stead MX Track is the 27th most popular dirt bike trail of all 29 dirt biking rides in Nevada. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Stead MX Track including Peavine Mountain, Sand Mountain Recreation Riding Area, Hungry Valley / Moon Rocks ORV Area and Fernley International Speedway.
