Northeast of Gunnison and north of Taylor Park in the Gunnison National Forest, the Taylor Pass Divide Road is an excellent high alpine route open to dirt biking. After climbing 5 miles on Taylor Pass Road from Taylor River Road, you will find the start of the Taylor Pass Divide Road above the scenic Taylor Lake.

Overall, Taylor Pass Divide Road is the 67th most popular dirt bike trail of all 90 dirt biking rides in Colorado. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Taylor Pass Divide Road including Gunsight Pass Road, Pearl Pass, Texas Lakes Trail, Colorado 500, Timberline Trail and Doctors Park.
