South of Perth and southeast of Bunbury, the West Coast Trail Bike Park has a 2km motocross track and 60km of dirt bike trails spread across a private 1,200 acre forest of bush and blue gums. The Blue Trail offers a loop of 2km to 25km. The Red Trail is a 35km loop. The motocross track is on a natural circuit with firm loamy sand over a clay and gravel base.
To reach the West Coast Trail Bike Park from Bunbury, head south on the South West Highway through Boyanup, Donnybrook and Kirup. Just south of Kirup, turn right on Cundinup-Kirup Road. Continue west on Cundinup-Kirup Road for roughly 15km. Turn right on Mailman Road for 2km. Turn on Gardiner Road to the end and look for West Coast Trail Bike Park.
The Blue Trail Loop #1 is along the south side of the West Coast Trail Bike Park and has off cambered gullies and hills. There are also granite rock out croppings and creek bed crossings.
The Red Trail Loop #2 is along the north side of the West Coast Trail Bike Park. It is the easier of the two trail loops. There are gentle hills to roll over on this loamy trail.
