Featured DIRT BIKE TRAILS
Northeast of Birmingham and northwest of Springville, The Ridge has 440 acres of trails open to off-road motorcycle trails riding. There are 30 miles of trails with all types of terrain including open fields, tight woods, fire lanes, hill climbing, creeks, rocks, and lots of elevation changes.
Southwest of Huntsville and south of Danville, the Flint Creek Multi Use Trail has two loops totaling 16 miles. The white-blaze Loop A is 11 miles. The red-blazed Loop B is 5 miles. Since there is heavy ATV use on the weekends, it is best for dirt biking Flint Creek on the weekdays.
South of Birmingham and north of Jemison in Chilton County, the Minooka Park OHV Trail System has 15 miles of off-road motorcycle trails riding over 160 acres. The Multi-use trails (two-way travel) are designated for four wheelers and motorcycles.
In the Appalachian Mountains south of Anniston near Munford, the Kentuck ORV Trail system has 23 miles of dirt bike trails through rolling hills of oak and hickory forests. This system of four dirt bike trails are fast with lots of turns, jumps and stream crossings. Some trails have easy sections with gentle grades, while others have steeper graded and tight turns.
Northwest of Birmingham near Dora, the Corner MX Park has all natural terrain with an outdoor motocross track. The track has black loamy soil with tabletops, whoops and triples. The track is safe for beginners but has options for the advanced rider.
Near Atmore, the Atmore Motosports Park has a track open to dirt bike riding and quad riding. The main track is 1.5 miles, and there is a peewee track.
Near Lafayette, the Ripville Motocross Park has a 1.2 mile motocross track open to dirt biking. There are triple table tops, uphill step-ups, and a double table top.
Northeast of Birmingham near Cleveland, the Southern Supercross Park has 3 tracks. There is an outdoor motocross track, an outdoor supercross track, and an indoor supercross track.
Near Newton, the Riverside Motocross Park has an MX track open to dirt biking with numerous stunts. The track is fully irrigated and will be watered periodically as needed on Saturdays and Sundays.
