Near Wallins in Harlan County, the Black Mountain Offroad Park has 150 miles of routes over 7,000 acres of abandoned mining lands that are open to dirt biking. There are rugged trails and old access roads to explore.
East of London near Big Creek in the Daniel Boone National Forest, the Redbird Crest Trail is a 65-mile loop trail. The multiple-use route is open to off-road motorcyclers. The loop begins and ends near the Redbird District Office. The trail generally follows the ridgetops, with some portions being quite steep and rough.
West of Lexington and southeast of Salt Lick in the Daniel Boone National Forest, the White Sulphur ATV Trail System is a 20 mile multi-use trail system open to ATV riding, off-road motorcycle riding and horseback riding. The system consists of forest service roads and newly constructed trails. This trail is designed for use by novice and moderately experienced riders.
Northeast of Nashville near Golden Pond in Land Between The Lakes, the 2,500 acres Turkey Bay OHV Park has 100 miles of off-road motorcycle trails through flat meadows, mud bogs and over rolling hills. For a challenge, try the terrain near Kentucky Lake with 600 feet elevation change and great vistas.
In the Daniel Boone National Forest, the Rock Ridge OHV Route is a 5.1 mile route open to dirt bike riding. There are many sharp turns, hills and other forest hazards.
North of Bowling Green near Brownsville, the Dunns Playground Motocross area has a wooded 2 mile motocross track that varies from 14 to 40 feet wide. This track was designed with a roller coaster in mind. You will experience sharp twists and turns along with rapid altitude changes, big ups and downs that you wont find on most tracks.
Northeast of Lexington near Dover, the Earlywine Racing Indoor Motocross has several tracks including motocross, arenacross and an ATV track. This is one of the nations largest indoor facilities. The track has safe jumps offering some offer big air and over 20 feet wide.
