Silver Lake

Northwest of Grand Rapids and west of Mears in Oceana County, the 3000 acre Silver Lake State Park has a 450 acre ORV area with sand dunes. This ORV area is very popular and gets very crowded on the weekends, so make sure to go on weekdays.  MORE INFO

Horseshoe-Holton Motorcycle Trail

Northwest of Holton, the Horseshoe-Holton Motorcycle Trail is a 70 mile route open to dirt biking. There is a small section that is shared by both dirt bikers and ATV riders, so use caution.  MORE INFO

Log Road Motocross

Southeast of Kalamazoo and south of Coldwater, the Log Road Motocross has 1.5 mile track open to dirt bike riding. The track has singles, doubles and triples. The track consists of sand and gravel mixed with dirt.  MORE INFO

Bull Gap ORV Trail

In Oscoda County, the Bull Gap ORV trail has 115 miles of routes open to off-road motorcycle trails riding. There are several trails and a sand hill. While these trails are open year round, May through October are recommended to avoid muddy conditions.  MORE INFO

South of Shingleton, the Coal Wood Trail is a 14 mile dirt biking route along an old railroad grade through northern hardwood and red pine stands. The route is marked and easy to follow.  MORE INFO

Grand Island National Recreation Area

North of Munising on the Upper Peninsula, the Grand Island National Recreation Area has miles of old forest roads and old carriage trails to explore. The roads are open to off-road motorcycles from October 1 to December 31, permit required.  MORE INFO

North of Flint near Millington, the Baja Acres MX has a naturally rolling track spread across 80 acres. The main track has a loamy soil, clay and sand surface. The track features table tops, doubles and large jumps.  MORE INFO

Battle Creek Motorcycle Club

Southwest of Lansing and north of Battle Creek, the Battle Creek Motorcycle Club has a 1.3 mile motocross track spread over 40 acres. Southeast of Roscommon, the Geels Trail System is open to dirt bike riding. The trail system consists of Geels North and Geels South.
