Northwest of Taylorsville in Alexander County, the Brushy Mountain Motor Sports Park has 1,700 acres open to off-road motorcycle trails riding. The route range in elevation from 1,300 feet to 2,500 feet. The park is open only on weekends and is closed on several holidays.
Northeast of Wilmington and west of Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Motocross Park has a 1.2 mile motocross track open to dirt bike riding. The groomed track has a soft loamy surface. There are doubles, triples and tabletops.
Southeast of Greenville, the Blackjack Motocross area has two tracks open to dirt biking. There is a full size motocross track with rhythm sections, switch backs, double and table tops. There is also a kids motocross track with table tops and rollers.
