North of Columbia and southeast of Chester, The TNT Motorsports Park has several trails open to off-road motorcycle riding. The Kasel Trail is an 8 mile wooded route winding through 228 acres of hardwoods. The Pathfinder Trail is a beginner loop. The Caldwell trail traverses 105 acres of hardwoods. A well-maintained silencer or muffler is required.

Near McClellanville in the Francis Marion National Forest, the Wambaw Cycle Trail system passes through sandy pine forest and consists of two loops totaling 40 miles North Loop and South Loop that are open to dirt biking. Riders can glimpse sinkhole ponds with majestic bald cypress, as well as turkeys and white-tailed deer.

Near Edgefield in the Sumter National Forest, the Cedar Springs Motorcycle Trail is a 11-mile, blue-blazed trail consists of a 7-mile northern loop, a 3-mile southern loop, and a 1-mile connector, which enables the riders to determine the length and duration of their rides. It offers a variety of plant life and wildlife habitats distinctive to the piedmont and allows riders to view diverse canopies, hardwood stands, and pine plantations. The trail follows old and new logging roads, crosses drains, runs through hardwood bottoms as well as along ridges.

Near Edgefield in the Sumter National Forest, the blue-blazed Parsons Mountain OHV Trail is a 12 mile dirt bike trail through hardwood bottoms and pine plantations. The blue-blazed loop trail begins and ends at the trail head on FS Road 515. A short connection section parallels FS Road 515, allowing the rider to return to the trailhead without completing the entire trail. This narrow trail follows old logging roads across hardwood bottoms, drains and pine plantations.

East of Spartanburg near Blacksburg, the Iron City Motorsports Park has a 1.4 mile motocross track, a peewee track, and open riding trails for dirt biking. The Iron City Motorsports Park is located at 120 Henson Road in Blacksburg.

Near Winnsboro in Fairfield County, the Carolina Adventure World has over 150 miles of dirt biking trails across 2,600 wooded acres. The rated trails range from greens running along brooks with nice views, to blues for more experienced riders, to black diamond trails with challenging hill climbs and techinical sections.
