West of Tucson in the Sonoran Desert, the Hugh Norris Trail is a 5 mile one-way hiking route ascending both Amole Peak and Wasson Peak for vistas of the Catalinas and Rincons. The hiking trail rolls through an amazing Saguaro forest. The trailhead can be found off Bajada Loop Drive, which is about 2.5 miles north of the Red Hills Visitor Center.
