Northwest of Victoria, the 29 mile Juan De Fuca Marine Trail traverses the coastline above the Juan De Fuca Strait meandering from forest to beach. Gaiters and Gortex are recommended, and be ready for mud! The southern hiking trailhead is near China Beach and the northern terminus is in Botanical Beach Provincial Park near Port Renfrew (Pacheedaht Trust Nation has shuttle bus service (250) 647-5521).
