Northeast of Pangnirtung on Baffin Island, the Weasel River Trail (25 mi) runs northeast (crossing the Artic Circle) to Summit Lake. Always use care when crossing glaciers!

To reach the hiking trailhead, fly into Pangnirtung via First Air from Ottawa (613) 839-3340. When free of ice, the National Park provides motorboat service to the Weasel River Trail. Otherwise, if the fjord is frozen, snowmobiles are used.
