Northeast of Pensacola and Milton, the 21.5 mile Jackson Trail is perfect for exploring the 184,000 acre longleaf pine and wiregrass ecosystem of the Blackwater River State Forest.

To reach the hiking trailhead from US90 in Milton, head northeast on SR191 for 22 miles. Park at the Forest HQ in Munson.

Overall, Jackson Red Ground Trail is the 8th most popular hiking trail of all 43 hikes in Florida.
