Hiking The Songni-san National Park

The 6th most popular hiking trail in Korea.

In North Chungchong, besides its fame for housing Popju-sa temple, Songni-san National Park also contains some of the most stunning scenery in central Korea. Several hiking trails cut through the park, with the most popular leading up to Chunhwang-bong peak (1058 m). A large area of the park lies inside North Kyongsang Province, although the North Chungch ong side has most of the most hiking trails. The park also contains Yonghwa Hot Springs and Gakyeon-sa temple.

The main trails are Cheonhwangbong and Munchangdae.

Overall, Songni-san National Park is the 6th most popular hiking trail of all 7 hikes in Korea.
