Southwest of Petersborough, the Monadnock State Park has a fabulous network of hiking trails like a web over Mount Monadnock (3165). To reach the park from Petersborough, head south on US202 and then west on SR124. Turn north on Dublin Road to park entrance. Use parking area at the Visitor Center.

Overall, Monadnock State Park is the 2nd most popular hiking trail of all 17 hikes in New Hampshire.
