South of Superior, the short four mile Copper Creek Falls Trail passes 165 Big Manitou Falls and corridors of conifers and hardwoods along the Black River. This route can be very difficult to follow.

To reach the hiking trailhead from Superior, head south on SR35 for 3 miles into the state park. The park staff will not be able to direct you to this trail.

Note: this trail is no longer maintained and is in an area not designated for recommended usage due to open mine pits throughout the area.

Overall, Copper Creek Falls Trail is the 3rd most popular hiking trail of all 18 hikes in Wisconsin.
