Near Yreka in the Shasta Trinity National Forest, the strenuous 12 mile roundtrip route leads to the unforgettable ascent of Grizzley Falls in the Trinity Alps. To reach the hiking trailhead from Yreka, head south on US5 for 3 miles. Turn southwest on SR3 for 35 miles to Callahan. Turn west on CR93 for 27 miles. South on FS1E003 for 3.8 miles and then onto FS37N07 for 5 miles.

Overall, China Springs Trail is the 33rd most popular hiking trail of all 88 hikes in California.
