Southeast of Beckley and Hinton, the 2,100 acre Bluestone State Park has 20 miles of heavily forested trails surrounding Bluestone Lake in mountainous terrain and around Bluestone Lake. To reach the hiking trailhead from Beckley, head east on US64 to Exit 139. Head south on SR20 for 15 miles to park entrance.

Overall, Bluestone State Park is the 7th most popular hiking trail of all 15 hikes in West Virginia.
