North of Broken Bow in the Ouachita Mountains, the Beaver Bend State Park has 30 miles of hiking trails through rolling hills and hardwood forests adjacent to Broken Bow Lake.

The David Boren Trail is a 16 mile route wandering along ridge tops and through creek bottoms amongst tall timber stands. It combines many of the parks trails into a long one-way route.

To reach Bearvers Bend Resort Park from Broken Bow, head north on US259 for 6 miles. Turn right heading east on SR259A into the park.

Overall, Beavers Bend State Park is the 1st most popular hiking trail of all 9 hikes in Oklahoma.
